The Christmas decorations came down on 6th January and the only remnants of Christmas are a pile of cards to be recycled and a stray star ornament hanging over the back door. Everywhere looks so bare now, especially on these cold, grey mornings.

Design fuers Heim or ‘Design for Home’ is a small but mighty design studio run by Maike Timmermann in Munich.
Maike describes the products as ‘a blend of quality, originality and durability’. Inspiration comes from ‘numerous borrowings from abroad and the nostalgic past’.

Drew Jaeger is a glass artist. His fascination began with a course in stained glass and developed from there. A couple of years and two kilns later, Drew now designs and makes his own glassware. Items include plates, bowls, candle holders and even business card holders.
