Andrew Davey makes beautiful household items from slate stone found in North Cornwall. He uses Delabole Slate or slate from Trevillet Quarry and explains that, “This is among the finest slate available and quite often I find flecks of fools gold and tiny quartz crystals.”

The delightfully named Trucmuche comes from the French for the word ‘Thingummyjig’ and the items found within this shop are just as unique as the name.
