Lovely goodies from Bettyjoy

Well it certainly is cold outside. And inside for that matter. I’ve been shivering for the last few weeks and have taken to working in my fingerless gloves and scarf.

If you feel the cold then stay snug as bug in these cosy neckwarmers. They’re available to buy from the fabulous Bettyjoy store. And while you’re browsing check out the cute range of accessories, toys, jewellery and homewares. There are some great gift ideas here and many of them for under £10.

And if that isn’t tempting enough there’s free shipping until 3rd December. So go now and shop, shop shop!

Let’s Start Christmas

Indie Stocking Fillers

Normally, I’m firmly in the ‘let’s keep Christmas in December camp’ but the Christmas markets are back in Manchester and our town Christmas tree lights were switched on last night. So feeling decidedly festive, I’ve decided to roll with it and start Christmas early this year. And to kick things off I’ve found a number of delightful stocking fillers made by indie designers and their elves. Enjoy!

1. Vanilla Ice Cream Kawaii Pin Brooch by Apple Noggin.

2. Handmade Wooden Nature Picture Frame by Wood Tattoos.

3. Polly Polly Pink Necklace (with hidden surprise) by fizzy pOp shoppe.

4. Magic Mushrooms and Friends Brooches by Custom Made.

5. Purple Happy Heart Snap Clips by BarrettesByCommotion.

6. Flirtation Brooch by School of Charms.

7. The Addison in Falling Leaves by PopulationOne.

8. Cranberry Orange Aloe and Olive soap by Kimber’s Creations.

9. Hand drawn Flirt Button by Scarlettcat.

Have a Dollyday

Friday, November 23rd, 2007
The Dollyday Range

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about super sweet online shop On Cherry Lane. Not content with one store the designer duo has set up another indie emporium of all things cute, this time selling Rebecca Nia’s own brand, Dollyday - with a few added Japanese imports just for good measure.

It’s chock full of unusual gift ideas and kitsch stocking fillers. Find cuckoo clock necklaces, faux pearls with Christmas pud pendants and toadstool earrings.

Start your Christmas shopping early at www.dollyday.co.uk.
