Our Christmas Tree

The house is clean, the presents are wrapped, the trifle is prepped and family are about to arrive. Everything is peaceful. All that remains is to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Here’s a little something for over the holidays. A few websites of note to keep you occupied.

Track Santa’s progress tonight with NORAD.

Crafty projects to keep you entertained from How About Orange.

A beautiful 16 page workbook from Susannah Conway to help you unravel the year ahead and say farewell to 2011. Oh and for more inspirational links check out Susannah’s Something for the Weekend posts.

Checkout Amber McNaught’s Forever Amber blog. Always an entertaining read.

Read Bare Essentials, the Best of Nude Magazine 2003 – 2011.

Check out Torrill’s illustration blog, Cake and Midgets.

Catch up on your reading. I recommend SJ Watson’s Before I Go to Sleep, Wilkie Collins’ The Woman in White and Emma Donoghue’s Room.

Watch Downton Abbey at 9.00pm on Christmas Day.

Order yourself a diary or journal from Susan Green or Simply Moleskine and write, paint or draw in it. Conquer the blank page.

Get some sea air. I recommend the beach walk from Whitby to Sandsend.

Plan, dream, sleep, eat and be merry.

See you in 2012.
