New course, Design Your Own Fabric: Lino Cut Pattern Printing has been developed in response to customer feedback. If you’ve ever been itching to make a new bag or item of clothing but can’t find suitable fabric, this is the course for you. It teaches basic pattern theory, including how to create a motif, form simple repeat and pattern manipulation and how to translate this into your fabric design.

You’ll learn about cutting lino to create your own unique motifs to form the basis of your printed fabric. You’ll get to grips with using specialist fabric inks, including creating colours to transfer your design onto a calico bag and cotton tea towel. And you’ll get to take home your designs.
