I’m fascinated by the use of story telling in marketing. Don’t tell me what I want or what I need. Tell me a story. Give me a context and the germ of an idea and my imagination will do the rest.
Clothing brand LABEL has got it just right. Their Spring / Summer 2010 collection is inspired by epic crime dramas. It tells the story of a couple on the run, hiding in a seedy motel room. Throughout the chaos the LABEL girl looks enticing and sexy.
Shawna Robinson and Natalie Sydoruk are the designers behind this Toronto based collection. Collaborating since 2007, they are committed to creating clothing with a conscience. Wherever possible they use organic, renewable or reclaimed fibers. This spring, the collection features fabrics containing organic cotton, hemp, lyocell, bamboo and silk.
The collection is available to buy online at www.seenolabelboutique.com.
