Ruby Loves Red

Beginnings are funny things. I wonder how many businesses have been formed as a result of a chance meeting with a friend, drinks with colleagues, a new book, that time you talked into the early hours . . . . For Sandra Cassidy is was coffee and cake at Borders. She went home clutching copies of ‘Aranzi Cute Dolls’ and ‘Plush You!’ and a few years, two sewing machines and several craft fairs later, she launched Ruby Loves Red.

Drawing on skills gained in her Illustration and Printmaking degree and her love of creating soft toys, Sandra has put together a thoughtful range of handmade products. The emphasis is on illustration and textiles and she has a number of talented designers, including herself, on board.
