Today’s post is all about taking everyday practical items and reworking, revamping and rejigging them to create something new, thoughtful and inspiring.
Luna Feliz creates one of a kind fabric Chinese take-out boxes that can be used for gifts, jewellery, make-up or simply as a place to stash bits and bobs around the home. There’s no cardboard included. Each one is make entirely out of fabric. And incidentally, Luna Feliz means ‘happy moon’ in Spanish.

Jenny Bridger of Jennyb’s Bottlecaps makes a variety of items including magnets, brooches, buttons, keyrings and mirrors, all from recycled bottle caps. Due to the nature of materials – images come from recycled junk mail, magazines, greeting cards and other sources – most of the bottle caps are unique. Commissions are also welcomed.
