Lovely indie goodies from On Cherry Lane

If cute, kawaii and kitsch is your thing, you’ll fall instantly in love with On Cherry Lane. The brainchild of Rebecca and David Nia, this delightful haven of all things pretty is chock full of indie surprises and unusual Japanese imports. Quirky plushies rub shoulders with bunny earrings and peapod necklaces jostle with cupcake keychains.

Think lovebird wristlets, ice cream tunics and mushroom stamp sets. I really can’t say enough about this site. Go there immediately and prepare to be charmed!

JPATPURSES

Accessories by JPATPURSES

My favourite accessory by far is the bag. For some people it’s shoes but for me it’s handbags, totes, shoppers, clutches and purses in all manner of shapes, sizes and colours. So, when I come across a new handbag designer whose work I like I get really excited. JPATPURSES is no exception. Not only are her bags made from beautifully co-ordinating fabrics but they’re made to last. Designer/maker Jenese Patanella has created her own ‘bat quilt interfacing technique’ which adds structure, strength and stability.

The current range includes bags, purses and gadget bags. Go to www.jpatpurses.etsy.com for a closer look.

Jewelry by Jessica

Pendants by Jewelry by Jessica

Artist, writer and illustrator Jessica Poundstone became interested in jewellery through her love of bright colours. Looking for ways to utilise the bold, vibrant patterns in her artwork, she began creating wearable art.

Each piece of jewellery is made from clear shrink plastic. Jessica cuts the plastic to size, adds the original illustration and it is then baked, painted and varnished. Each and every pendant is unique with small variations in shape, size and design and comes complete with a leather cord. Bespoke orders are welcomed.
