Silver Heart Cluster Necklace by Twinkleberry

Well I said that today is all about the jewellery. Before I down tools I wanted to share this pretty necklace by Twinkleberry. Inspired by her daughter, designer Jenni Bell created the necklace for girls of around 8 and upwards. Each necklace contains a sterling silver heart, sparkly bead and Swarovski crystal cluster on a choice of coloured ribbon.

Unique Jewellery for You

And so from Singapore to West Yorkshire. Self-confessed ‘lampwork groupie’, Beverley Abbott of Unique Jewellery For You, makes pretty jewellery from her home studio. Combining handmade beads, sterling silver and sparkly Swarovski crystals, she creates individual pieces ranging from stunning bridal jewels to accessories that you can wear everyday.

And if you live in the Yorkshire area you could try one of Beverley’s home jewellery parties. And for busy bees and cyber chicks there’s always the virtual party.

Jewellery by Beakee

Today is all about the jewellery. And first up are these gorgeous finds from Beakee. Singapore based designer Jasmin Lee creates unusual jewellery from semiprecious gemstones, natural stones, sterling silver and gold-filled or natural brass components.

Jasmin believe in simple but elegant accessories that you can wear season after season. ‘Things that could either be unexpected conversation-starters, or as familiar as your favourite sweater.’

Locher’s

Clothing by Locher's

Introducing Locher’s. In 2001 Swiss born Nicole Locher opened her design atelier in Paris. Combining objets trouv? from London and Paris flea markets with modern fashion, she has created a style all of her own.

Clothing by Locher's

After finding an embroidered handkerchief from the turn of the century it became Nicole’s mission to bring back this refinement and mix it with modern styles. And to counterbalance this elegance and antiquity she has thrown in a few saucy sayings just for good measure.

For clothing your mother wouldn’t wear and your father shouldn’t see go to www.lochers.com.

Accessories from Sewnsational

I love these black and white accessories by Sewnsational. There’s coin purses, wristlets, glasses cases, gadget bags and even covered journals. Everything is handmade and there are lots of fabrics to choose from. But my favourites are the classic prints. You could mix and match them with just about anything.

Take a look at www.sewnsational.com.

Keep and Share

Knitwear from Keep and Share

Keep and Share is an alternative luxury knitwear label, offering handmade designer knitwear for men and women. Each piece is designed to satisfy over time and is knitted by designer Amy Twigger Holroyd and her team of makers in rural Herefordshire.

In addition to creating beautiful and unconventional garments, Keep and Share also works hard to buy recycled or environmentally friendly materials where possible. They even recycle their own offcuts, making them into quirky products which they sell on their website.

And if buying luxury, hand knitted garments that are ethically produced isn’t enough, Keep and Share has a unique customer services policy which allows you to ‘borrow’ items before you buy. And if you’re a bit strapped for cash they will consider swapping pieces for goods and services.

For more information and to buy online go to www.keepandshare.co.uk.

Though most of their sales are conducted online, Keep and Share has recently launched the ‘Keep & Share Travelling Store’. The team will be popping up at Cornwell House, Clerkenwell Green, London from 19th to 23rd June, 11am-6pm, offering a fleeting chance to touch, try on and buy their knitwear. If you’re planning to go then take this voucher with you to claim £5 off each purchase over £100.
