Image is Everything

Jewellery by Yasmin Bochi

Yasmin Bochi is a huge collector of all things vintage - books, magazines, handbags, furniture and photos. Many of her creations incorporate past and modern influences. She combines vintage materials with her own vector artwork and uses photo manipulation and experimental printing techniques to make bags, accessories and jewellery.

Old bags are given a new lease of life through image transfer and appliqu?.

And I couldn’t resist the Bienvenue A Paris Jeans.

All of above is available to buy from yasminbochi.etsy.com. And if your handbag is looking a bit drab, Yasmin will treat it to an exclusive revamp.

Miggipyn

T-shirts by Miggipyn

These customised tops by Miggipyn are really clever. If you look closely the images are actually reclaimed fabric pieces that have been appliqu?d onto the front of the shirts. The minute detail is beautiful, down to the gold embroidery thread used to create the belly dancer’s jewellery.

Miggipyn also creates quirky fabric collage cuffs and charm-laden jewellery.

Xenos Designs

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007
Garments and accessories by Xenos

It’s been such a lovely sunny week (which may not last because it’s almost Bank Holiday weekend) and so I thought I’d get this post in quickly. Designed by husband and wife team, Xenos Designs, the pretty and oh-so-sexy tops have been screen printed and hand embellished. The tee is also screen printed with motorbike icons and a ‘This is how we Ride’ slogan.

And of course I had to mention the Kawaii and Owl bubble pins because they’re just so cute and an absolute bargain at only $5.00 (around £2.50) each.

Take a look at www.xenosdesigns.com.
