RED INSTEAD handmade

Handmade tissue holder, bag, mobile and artwork by RED INSTEAD handmade

RED INSTEAD handmade is an Aussie brand created by the multi talented Jen Leheny. As an avid crafter Jen likes to make things, especially with her sewing machine. The shop is bursting at the seams with bags, clothes, painted ceramics, mobiles and artwork.

I love the tissue cozies - a practical way to stash your Handy Andies and pretty to boot.

RED INSTEAD handmade ships worldwide from www.redinstead.com.au.

Bathroom goodies from Bubbles and Baths

Today’s post is a personal recommendation. My mum bought me some Banana Milk Shake and Strawberry Slice Soap for Christmas. It smells divine and scents the whole bathroom. So much so that even Richard noticed.

The company that makes the soaps is Bubbles and Baths and they have a whole range of bathroom goodies including bath bombs, shampoo bars, lip balms and gift sets.

Go to www.bubblesandbaths.co.uk and claim your 20% discount on all orders over £10. Just enter indie during the checkout process.

Cute as a Button

Goodies by tomate d'?pingles

tomate d’?pingles is a wonderful Etsy store offering a quirky range of jewellery, accessories and stationery made from vintage, recycled, retro and new materials. Like the flat notecards for example, shown at the top of the post. They’re hand embroidered and feature gorgeous multicoloured vintage repurposed buttons.

I’ve picked out a few more of my favourite pieces to share with you. Second from top is ‘Le Temps des Cerises’ - cherry vintage button necklace and earring set.

Goodies by tomate d'?pingles

Oh yes, and the pretty vintage daisies on silver filled ear wires and last but not least the hand wrapped coconut ring, made from polished coconut shell and hand wrapped with copper wire.

Take a look for yourself at www.tomatedepingles.etsy.com . It’s a great site to browse. I’m off to buy a set of the notecards.
