I hate January. I find it so depressing after all the excitement of Christmas and you have to wait a full 12 months before it comes round again. Going back to work, detox, diets, resolutions - hate it all. The only thing I like about this grey, dreary month is that the sales start. And yesterday I came across a massive sale over at The Bag Boutique.

I’ve had my eye on the Helen Tweed bag by Alice Caroline for ages and I couldn’t believe my luck when it was reduced by a whopping 50% in the sale. It’s made from brown woollen tweed and is lined with burgundy and green Liberty fabric. I ordered it straight away and it arrived this morning, beautifully wrapped in brown paper with a velvet bow.

There are lots of reductions from a wealth of talented designers including Emma Gordon, Elbo by Emma Burton and Lucy Hayler. I wouldn’t delay because at these prices stocks won’t last forever.
