Indie Birthday

Pass me the Sensible Shoes bag Tea Ladies Picture

It was my birthday on Monday and I had my first day off of the year (one of the downsides of working for yourself). I spent the day with my husband - we had a long lunch at a tapas bar in Didsbury and then watched films for the rest of the day.

I got lots of lovely gifts, two of which were from companies I’ve previously blogged about on Indie Quarter. My sister bought me a gorgeous, tweedy ‘Pass me the Sensible Shoes’ bag from Temporary Measure, which shall be making it’s debut tomorrow night. And my mum bought me some beautiful Tea Ladies pictures from Box Art. I’ve wanted these pictures for ages and I’ll be hanging them over the weekend when I’ve cleaned the house (another downside of working for yourself - the housework builds up to such epic proportions that it would take a team of professional cleaners a good few hours just to make it through the hallway!)
