Leeds based jewellery designer, Alex Lavigueur produces beautiful bespoke silver jewellery. Each piece is handcrafted from scratch, using various silversmithing techniques. Her designs incorporate ‘movement, colour and a playful element of some kind’.

Alex attended both Camberwell College of Arts and Leeds College of Art and Design and her work has been included in ‘The Art of Love’ (Oxo Tower Wharf, London ) and ‘New Designers’ (Business Design Centre, Islington) exhibitions.

Alex says of her work, ‘I like to leave marks of the processes used to give the objects a worn-in feel. Processes used include oxidising, gilding, piercing, forging and reticulating. I often look to other disciplines for inspiration and rarely make the same piece twice. ‘
